Aurora Aksnes is an Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally known as Aurora. Her name could be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. The singer has released a number of high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. Her mother urged her to play her songs in public, not to be famous, but to assist others in understanding how valuable their voices are and how they can contribute to the world. When she was six she started playing the piano, and when she was nine began writing her own songs. Her family didn't hear about her musical journey until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream.
