Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is an Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally known as Aurora. Her name could be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. The singer has released a number of high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that were widely appreciated. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music not to get an income or to pursue an interest, but for the sake of growing. She started writing songs of her own. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. Her mother urged her to play her songs in public, not to be famous, but to assist others in understanding how valuable their voices are and how they can contribute to the world. When she was six she started playing the piano, and when she was nine began writing her own songs. Her family didn't hear about her musical journey until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. Aurora claims she loves creating songs. She claims that music is her preferred method to feel anything.
